As a sworn member of the Los Santos Police Department, a Police Officer maintains order, enforces laws and ordinances, and protects life and property; issues citations, makes arrests, prepares reports, and provides information to the public and departmental units; works with neighborhood associations and community members as a planner, community organizer, problem solver and information link; and does related work.

DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT

The Los Santos Police Department provides it's employees with the best equipment in the field. This ensures they have all the tools they need to complete their duties. Our department is fully equipped with state of the art radar systems for speed detection. These radar systems can capture the speed of a vehicle from up to two miles away. This equipment can also capture the vehicle license plate with complete accuracy. Our fleet consists of eight vehicles:
